Kids, especially during their teenage years, go through struggles. These struggles can go on for days, weeks, months and even years. As for me, I have had constant struggles throughout the entire millennium so far, and they have not ceased. My struggles have been tough, but have ultimately made me a better person, and have helped me decide what kind of adult I will be in the future.

If you have ever wondered about your significance to mankind, the environment, or the universe, you may understand the thoughts that run wild through my mind and the feeling of fragility of human life. Depression is something that I go through a lot and it mostly caused by school and my friends. Most of the time, I feel like just ending the pain I’ve been going through. Stranded on this vast expanse of monotony
I see;
The craggy cliffs of circumstance
I’ve stumbled up to get me here.
But looking back there makes me dizzy;
Oh, haven’t I ever heard?
It’s not prudent to look downward!
Now turn my face to the trail ahead—
The rocks are rough and incline, steep.
Make my way up to the sharp ascent
And pray someday to reach my peak.

I never could beat Brandon in Nintendo track and field. It seemed no matter how hard I ran in place on that old Nintendo power pad, I lost in the end. Whether it was the long jump, the hurdles, or the 100 meter dash, the results were always the same. I lost and Brandon won. Brandon was better than me in all aspects of the game, but even more so, he was knowledgeable in the aspects of life. I guess that is why I admire him. I guess that is why he is my role model.
