            My trip to La Paz, Bolivia in the summer of 2009 made such an impact on my life that when Kaya Children International invited me down again the following summer, I immediately accepted the offer. While last year’s main goal was to become familiar with the organization and to offer afternoon activities for the street children, this year’s goal was entirely different—painting a mural. Kaya Children had just recently bought a new, larger school building.

I was nine years old, when I began riding lessons. Back then, I could never imagine how my hobby could give me the chance to help others in the community.
