TERMS OF USE 

By using the web site generationpulse.com, or clicking the “I agree” button below (whether or not you have read these terms all the way through), you are agreeing to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms of Use.  If any of these Terms of Use are unacceptable to you, do not use the Web Site.  

The Web Site is maintained by Boston College.   

1. Permitted Use.  You may view, download and print the content solely for your personal, noncommercial use. You agree not to reproduce, modify, post, transmit, sell, distribute or otherwise make available any of the content.

2. Registration and Profile Information; Password.  You represent that the information you have provided us in the registration process and in your profile is accurate and complete.  You may not permit anyone else to use your password.  You agree to update your contact information to maintain its accuracy.  We will only display or distribute this information according to the preferences you set in your profile, although it may be used in compiling statistics regarding use of the site and these statistics may be published, with names withheld. 

3. Expectations regarding comments, submissions and user conduct.  You agree that all the comments and submissions you contribute are original, and do not violate or infringe upon the right of any third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other personal or proprietary rights.  You will be respectful of other users and not post libelous, defamatory or otherwise unlawful material.  In addition, you agree not to use the services or the web site to:

    * Upload or post any content that we deem to be harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, vulgar, obscene, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;

    * Impersonate any person or entity, create a false identity or otherwise misrepresent yourself or your affiliation with any person or entity;
    * Upload or post any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, “junk mail,” “spam,” “chain letters,” “pyramid schemes,” or any other form of solicitation;
    * Upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment;
    * Harvest or collect email addresses or other contact information of other users from the service or the site by electronic or other means for the purposes of sending unsolicited emails or other unsolicited communications;
    * Solicit personal information from anyone under 18 or solicit passwords or personally identifying information for commercial or unlawful purposes.

4. Limitations of Liability and Remedies.  Your use of the web site and the content is at your own sole risk.  If you are dissatisfied with the web site or the content, your exclusive remedy is to stop using the web site and the content. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Boston College, and their officers, directors, employees and agents, from and against all claims, actions, suits, damages, liabilities and costs (including, without limitation, reasonable legal fees) resulting from your breach of any provision of these Terms of Use or your use of the web site or the content.

5. Links to Other Sites. The web site may contain links to third-party web sites maintained by others.  These links are provided solely as a convenience to you and not as an endorsement by us of the contents of any such third-party web sites.  We are not responsible for the content of linked third-party sites and do not make any representations regarding the contents or accuracy of materials on such sites.  If you decide to access linked third-party web sites, you do so at your own risk.

6. Changes; Termination.  We may change these Terms of Use, the web site or the content at any time, and we may terminate your access to and use of the web site at any time, with or without cause, in our sole discretion.  Accordingly, you should read these Terms of Use from time to time for any changes.  If you are found to be violating these terms of use, your access to the areas of the site restricted by password will be terminated.
