Hello,

My name is Meaghan and I am 24 years old.  I live in Boston and I work at Boston College and have jsut started taking classes here to become a teacher.  I hop eone day to become a middle school English teacher because I love to read and write and I also really enjoy working wtih kids.  When I am not working or at school, I like to go running, go to the beach with my family or hang out with my friends.  I really enjoying being outside and also like to draw or paint pictures of outdoor scenery (although I am not very good at it!).  I consider myself to be a friendly, thoughtful person, though my friends and family often tell me that I can be too sensitive and that I worry too much about everything!  I grew up in New Jersey, which is about 4 hours away from Boston and although I love it here, I do miss my family very much.

Well I guess that's enough about me...I am really looking forward to hearing back from you and am very excited to get to know you!

~Meg

WHAT IS MOST IMPORANT TO ME?

My Family.  I am the youngest of five kids - four grls, one boy.  My oldest sibling adn I are fifteen years apart, so there is a very large spread between all of us kids, but I love that about my family.  My oldest sister has five kids (4 girls, 1 boy) and my brother has two kids (a boy and a girl).  My first nephew Tommy was born when I was 15 years old and my life has not been the same since.  I cannot imagine my life without all of them - they bring me so much joy and happiness and remind me of how wonderfully simple life can be.  My siblings and I are also very close, despite the fact that two of my sisters live in New Jersey near my parents, my brother lives in California, my other sister lives in Chicago and I live in Boston.  Although we don't get to see eachother all the time, when we do spend time together I cherish every moment.  My parents are both very generous and loving people.  They are both over 60 years old now so I worry about them and their health, especially s ince I live far away from them.  They have sacrificied so much for their children and I realize now that I am older that their love for us is stronger than any other kind of love.  I am very fortunate to have such a wonderful family and I just hope that I am a good daughter, sister and aunt to all of them.
