My Dreams for the Future

My Dreams for the Future

Dreams are an intangible yet immensely significant part of what defines a person. A dream does not come with a price tag, require a resume, nor can it reject you. A dream is personal, unique to its beholder.

Dreams, therefore, are symbols of hope. They reside with in each and every one of us. Within are dreams are our greatest desires, triumphs, and inner wishes. A dream can signify an unattainable reality or a wonderful hope. Dreams show us what we want the most in life: they represent who we want to become and what we want to achieve.

Every person has a dream for himself or herself. In my own life, I have many dreams for my family, my future, and myself. I think that the best kinds of dreams are the ones in which the dreamer attains indescribable ecstasy. For myself, my own dreams for the future meet this requirement. In my dreams, I don’t see myself as a doctor, a lawyer, or a business person. In fact, I don’t have a set career plan that I dream of. Instead, I dream only of a truly happy life. I dream that I will one day; I will leave near a beach in a warm weather climate. I will have a home filled with love and laughter. I dream of having many children, many pets and a loving partner. I want my house to be a place of comfort, security, and warmth. I want my life to mean something, not in a dollar amount or the success of my career status, but in the lives I impact, the family I become a part of, and the mark I leave on this Earth.
