Hi Regan! I decided to share with you my favorite quote this week. It's from Harold Thurman, and whenever I feel upset or confused, I like to read over this quote. It always makes me feel better. Since I'm in college right now, there's always a lot going on. There's always work to be done, events to go to, and it can be really easy to get overwhelmed. I have to figure out my major soon, and it's definitely a hard thing to decide on! Everything feels so final, it's hard to stick with one area to study! This quote reminds me that I really just need to think about what I want to do, what makes me happy, and not what my family and friends feel is right for me. It reminds me that as long as I am doing something I love, I will be happy. I love how the quote talks about "coming alive." In today's world, everyone thinks that success is defined by the size of your paycheck, but I don't think that's true. Work should be about something you love and something that allows you to help others. Have you ever though about what you want to do when you're older? When I was younger I used to think I wanted to be a lot of things - it's neat to see how many different jobs I thought I would have when I was younger. Hope to hear back from you soon!
